Celebrated a-day-after-xmas with great performance by Action Drawing Hero!!

Another invitation I got from KTO~~yippie! before closing the year 2012, I got a chance to see this special performance that located in Myeongbo Art Hall, 1min walk from Euljiro3Fa exit8. I went there alone to catch the 8PM performance, since I didnt notice that actually allowed me to bring friend, so I just went there by myself. However, I met some Indonesian friends and others Ksupporters there ^^

The performance itself has been a guest in several variety show in Korea TV such as Strong Heart. While waiting for performance to begin, they played some videos when this non-verbal performance came out on TV. This action drawing is a performance that combined music, pantomime, drawing & painting, also comical dance. THey use several unique method for painting, such as using water ink, special ink, fluorescent ink, and even sands. 

Since the title is Hero, so the four painters were do painting faces of several heroes in a unique story line, such as Michael Jackson, Jet li, n Superman. I dont want to be spoiler, but trust me u will enjoy the show n u will get surprised while watching their performance. My fav part was the one when they did painting using water ink for creating mermaid also another one when they’re drawing the scenery of a sea&mountain n in the end became cupid & a couple using fluorescent ink. Super cool!

I was sitting in the first line so I could see them perfectly - ps: one of the artist looked like 2PM Junho kkk I did enjoy the show! So, as always, thank you KTO!

Celebrating 10millions of visitor to South Korea with SBS Inkigayo event!!!

Last sunday, KTO invited performance supporters to join the event. I got an advanced ticket from monday, because I directly took it from their office instead of queueing on the venue location. THis SBS Inkigayo special event was held in two venues, Gwanghwamun and SBS Prism Tower. That wasnt my first time to visit Prism Tower since I’ve been there to watch DBSK 1st comeback stage couple month ago. The venue is located near exit9 Digital Media City station line 6.

However, last week was my first live-show experience ever. Let me share u several info regarding music program like SBS inkigayo:

1. Pre-recording: artist performed before the live show begin. Usually 1 artist gets chance for 3-5 takes, and only respective fandoms can watch. For idols with huge number of fandom members usually they always do it - so now u know that the live broadccasted program on tv is not 100% live ^^

2. Post-recording: artist performed after the live show finished. Usually the artists do this because they have conflicting schedule for the following week, and once again, only fandom can watch the respective artist

3. Live show: this is just like what u watch on tv or dmb. Only those who got the ticket from the TV station and some fandom representatives who can join in.

When b2st comeback last summer, I only had a chance to come for their post-recording and pre-recording. So, last sunday was my first time ever to watch the live show ^^  Detail about how to grab the tickets and any other information related the music program can be seen on my book, JalanJalanKpop #promo

The show started on 3.40PM, since I already got a ticket, I came there alone just in time before the entrance closed at 3PM. Around 2.45PM, I arrived there and saw lots of fans making line for post-recording b1a4 and boyfriend. At first, the security didnt let me in, but thanks there was KTO officer there that helped me to go inside. They said there’s no seating place left, and I bravely said, the standing place would be super fine for me!! So, I got the left side of stage~~yeay^^

I was standing with TripleS who came to cheer ParkJungmin’s comeback. He’s so beautiful n tall also funny, when he arrived on stage he did adlib stated “Im coming, Im coming” to our side ^^ Ailee, Noel, Kim Jongkook, were appeared from left stage above my head,I were so surprised kkk Today MCs were IU, ZE:A Kwanghee - who got histeric when his wife, Sunhwa performed on stage - and Lee Jungsuk.

There’re several highlight I would like to share~ first, Cube rookie star, Roh Jihoon, was extremely handsome!!! He has super-pointed nose and his shirt was unbottoned on the top sideee—super sexy!!! I ♥ him!! now I keep singing his song, punishment kkk

Another highlight is CNBLUE! Holy gosh, they’re all super handsome especially Yonghwa!! He smiled and waved a lot! My position was super close with Jungshin, he kept smiled at me even though my cellphone LED was written for supporting Jonghyun kkk Minhyuk was covered with his drum, so I only see him before their live performance begun. And my bias, Jonghyun was too busy with his guitar and he was standing on the opposite stage of me :(( However, I was still glad since they played their song live n flawless =)

Last highlight - I should say sorry first to Inspirit - I did hightouch with Namwoohyun!!! His fans services were not kidding! He smiled while kept looking at us n singing~ I fall for him ♥ PS: that time my cellphone LED was written “L jjang” kkk Ah, since Infinite had their prerecording, so they just showed up for a while on stage.

Several artists like Juniel, Hyuna, Kim Sunggyu Infinite, Son Dambi did prerecording - they just came on stage for a while. Shinee did post-recording last week and DBSK released their comeback track Humanoid with video taken from their concert. Girls Day, Kara, Secret and Tablo also performed live that day.Meanwhile Sistar, Boyfriend, B1A4 and Teentop did their live performances from Gwanghwamun. Too bad I could not meet my Dedek Gongchan :p

Overall, I was extremely happy that day - even I could not take any pics inside. Ah, fyi it is STRICTLY PROHIBITED for taking any pics from inside venue when the show begin. That’s the reason why I only came up with above pictures.

All in all, thanks again KTO! Look forward for the next event =)

Last saturday, I got invitation from KTO to join their program celebrating the power of hallyu that spread out all over the world, A walk with stars. The event consisted of walking around Olympic park with several idols - ZE:A, Nine Muses, Jang Hyuk and Kim Soo Hyun! - also mini concert with additional artist Infinite, Sistar and Little PSY.

This event was held in Olympic Park Stadium, I went there alone around 12PM using subway n stopped by in Mongchontoseong Station Line 8. After did some registration, they gave me shirt with the artists faces printed on it and my number. Kinda surprise when I saw the number I got, which was 1572..KTO told that we could seat in front as usual, but turned out I was seated behind. :(

Before the entrance there’re lots of Korean fans waiting because they’re not allowed to go in~ also, rite away when I got it there’s a long line for gmarket booth. Turned out that in gmarket booth we could take a pic with bigbang standing figure n got some merchandise - bigbang postcards and shopping bag - yeay! Also in Songpa city booth, you can take a pic with 2AM standing figure and try to use traditional clothes.

The event begun at 12.30PM, today MC is Adrien Lee, and he started to introduce the stars that would walk with us. However, I managed to seat in front of stage - in staff area - kkk and took pics of them. After that we moved to starting line. People just went crazy!! However again, I succeed got smiled n head-nodded from Kim Soo Hyun, Janghyuk, Kwanghee and Hyungsik!! The best part was ~~ I had mini-interview with Im Siwan!!! See my dialogue with Im Siwan here ♥

Even the title was walk with stars, but that was crowded with stars, people totally lost their minds and that was super chaos~~~kkk after we back again to stage area, the MC told us to take a walk around n put our name in luckydrop box..n while walking I could see the beautiful scenery around which before was lost to by the stars beauty. In the end of walking I met other Indonesian friends, so I joined them.

Then, time for the concert to begin! Infinite open the stage~ oh gosh, L was super cute n Woohyun has nice smile ♥ Then Sistar came ~ they’re totally super sexy! The MC seemed like their fanboys kkk After that Nine Muses went on stage n continue with ZE:A. You can see my live update in @JalanJalanKpop official twitter account ^^

The event closed with lucky draw announcement - but I wasnt lucky that time so I missed d chance to get Infinite signed CD n postcard with Kim SooHyun n Janghyuk’s signs. Anyway~ I was super happy because I could talk with Im Siwan..

2days 1night trip for free from KTO to yeongam, yeay!!!

Do you know what was the hottest news last week in korea? It was formula one korean grand prix in Yeongam city, South Jeolla province. My partner this time is Andrea,from South America. Some of Indonesian friends also joined this tour as well. We started our journey on saturday by gathering in front of KTO building at 8am n had 5hours ride by bus to Yeongam. While we’re taking lunch on rest area, we met dancers from Peru who would perform in international festival in Mokpo, city near Yeongam.

Lets the story of racing begin. THe Korean grand prix started since friday for the first qualification round. We had a chance to see the second qualification round on saturday and the final round on SUnday. This i my first time ever seeing formula one with my own eyes, before I just saw it through TV. I thought that there would be lots of people come, but on the first day, I could find lots of empty seats.

We took lots of pics on the formulaone wall, I bought official tshirt *since I forgot to bring clothes for sunday* Ah, one story about official tshirt, they sold it with price 29K for this year shirt, and u could buy only 15K for 2011 and 2010 shirt. My impression for the first round was, the racing sound was not a joke! Thanks God i brought my earplug with me, otherwise I could have an ear-damaged. Ah, we were seating in ground place, not the main stage one. *try to google the price, super expensive, thanks God I got it for free* 

Actually, on friday, MBC had special music event there, the admission was free for those who has the F1 ticket, but KTO already arranged other things for us, so we decided to visit waterbreak near Mokpo city. From circuit to Mokpo it took around 20mins. But, once we arrived in waterbreak, the person in charge there didnt allow us to go up, because it was still underconstruction -__-” Oh, if only we could just stay in circuit n watch MBC music.

Then we decided to back to Mokpo downtown call as peace park - pyonghwagwangjang - in the nite there’s a dancing fountain - one of tourist attraction in Mokpo city. Also, in this area we watched the intl festival n met the Peru dancers again. We also grabbed our dinner around that area, we ate lots of seafood~super delicious!

Before going to our accomodation in hanok house - Korean traditional house -  near Dr.Wang-In historical site, we stopped by in Emart and shopped for a while. Our accomodation owner, personally picked us up, they’re all so nice. However, since my owner only bring a small car, I decided to have nite walk with the Mom. We talked a lot, about grea things to see around the area, it would be great if I am back again there since there’s 2km road will fulfilled with cherry blossom trees, and so on and so on. All the houses surrounding Dr.Wang-In were traditional hanok house, u could stay overnite there.

Once we arrived in our hanok house the owners gave us seongpyeon - rice cake filled with nuts - and sikhye - traditional drink made from rice and sugar - which are my favorites. Since I needed to prepare for my exam, they let me to stay in different room and even I had my own bathroom. THe house was super comfy n in the morning, they provided us super delicous breakfast.

Then we gathered back with others Ksupporters and we did couple photo shoots in Dr Wang in Historical site. Our lunch menu this time is haemul kalguksu, back in Mokpo downtown. After take a free time after lunch finally time to race! However, compare to the previous date, on the final round, the crowd wasnt a joke. I had to wait more than 15mins just to go to toilet..kkk That day Vettel from Redbull won the race, congratulations~~

Actually, if we kept stay in Yeongam till nite, there’s Psy Gangnam Style free concert, but we had to rush back to Seoul. It was a short n relaxing trip. Last word, thanks again KTO, I’ll see you on the next event..

JUMP JUMP JUMP~if you are in Seoul this September and will to grab a chance watching other interesting performance beside Nanta, JUMP is a great choice for you. JUMP is a non-verbal performance that combines comedy, taekwondo and martial arts. You can get more detail information in their official website here.

Last Friday, I got invitation from KTO to watch this performance also attend a taekwondo class. So, I went to Seoul Cinema, 5^th floor at 230PM. The theatre is located near exit 14 Jongno3Ga station. I met other Ksupporters from other countries and had some chitchat with them before the taekwondo class begun.

Did u know? We had our taekwondo class in cinema,kkk. The teacher was one of performer in JUMP, he has really sexy arms! He’s so nice, he let us to take pics with him after we learned some basic moves in taekwondo such as punching, kicking and blocking. That was my first ever learning taekwondo and I found some movements are kinda similar with the one I learned before in Merpati Putih Indonesia.

After the short taekwondo class, we got in the theatre to start watching the JUMP performance. Ssst, I also got some free merchandise, a block which usually used in taekwondo. Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to take picture inside. But that’s fine because I could 100% enjoyed the show.

The plot itself talking about a crazy family that has special ability in martial arts. Each family member has its own ability, some can do stretching very well, some can break the block with eye closed, some can jump very high, others also play toya n sword really well. They’re all muscular n skillful. My favorite character was drunken ajossi, u should see his craziness by yourself ^^ Ah, if you are lucky, maybe the performers would ask u to join them on stage.

When the show finished, we had a chance to fansigning event. The actors all personally give their signatures in my block. I also got interviewed n gave some comment about this interesting performances.

Last saturday, September 1, I attended Koinmo opening ceremony in Cheonggyecheon Plaza. You must be curious rite what Koinmo is? Koinmo stands for Korea in Motion. In this special month, KTO - Korea Tourism Organization - held a big event for a month, in which you could watch spectacular art performances with high discount!

The Koinmo opening ceremony was led by duo MC from showbiz news Arirang, Adrien Lee & Lee Yenmi *wow, it’s my third time already meeting them* While waiting for the opening to be started, the KOINMO mascots - 5 big air balloons using Korean Hanbok were spazzing around us. Ssst, there’s also an event related these mascots. During this lovely September, they will be hanging around Cheonggyecheon stream area, if you find them and take picture with them and upload it to Koinmo website, you could win a prize~ free ticket to watch performances! So cool, rite?

The opening event started exactly at 6.30 PM. I went there with another jalanjalankpop writer @setsunavie. So we both did live update in our official account @jalanjalankpop using Bahasa Indonesia. My fellows korea performance supporters opening the show by performing flashmob. Too bad I had no time to join them :( The flashmob was so cute and KOINMO’s jingle keep stuck in my head till now..kkk

Then our KTO CEO gave opening remarks using both Korean & English~ even he’s foreigner he speaks Korean so fluent, envy him ^^ He explained why Koinmo is held in September, because in this month, we gonna see the full moon twice, the weather also good, and made it a perfect time to hold a great event.

The main program that you could enjoy during this month can be seen in this KOINMO website. I’ll explain to you some of the advantages you could grab in this event.

1. Free Showcase performances everyday in front of KTO building. Every 12.20PM on weekdays and 4.00PM on weekend for 30minutes you could enjoy a free showcase. If you wanna visit KTO building, just use subway stop by in Jonggak Station go out in exit Number 5
2. Rush Ticket. Wanna go and watch the performances and get discount for it? Simply go to the box in front of KTO building, buy the tickets there and you could grab a big discount for it! 
3. Collect The Stamp. Everytime you watch performance, you could get a stamp. If you collect the stamp and become the winner, free trip to Jeju Island or flight to Japan could be yours!

After the CEO gave his remarks, then it’s time to see several showcases. You guys must know Nanta, rite? Beside Nanta, you could enjoy many more non-verbal performances, music, theatrical, and plays here in Korea.

That day, Bibap, Hwarang and Fantasticks showed up their talent on stage. Bibap do a theatrical play of two chef duels and making bibimbap. In the end, they even inveted one foreigner to join their stage. It was so funny. For hwarang, there’re 5man on stage - one of them, i think kinda resembles Super Junior Siwon - performing martial arts and singing at the same time! Their voice is awesome, they danced and acted as well, so cute! The last showcase was from Fantastick. They performed Arirang song using traditional instruments, their outfit also beautiful. Love it.

Then time to announce and meet the idol. Ze:A was chosen to be KOINMO ambassador this year. It was great to see their performance since they just recently comeback. Ah, I even made a board for Im Siwan using my cellphone and he saw it ^^ Thanks God, I seated in front kkk He’s so cute ya..always smiled all the time :) Really enjoy to see their performance.

This is the second part of final day in R16

Continue from my previous post, in the second day on last Sunday, I went to the same place Olympic Hall, Seoul Olympic Park to see the second part of R16 final. That day event was focus on Crew battle which means group bboy battle. This time I came late again, and fortunately I manage to get VIP ticket, and once again I seated alone :’(

On that day, USA representative, Massive Monkees, was the winner of the competition. They beated Simple System in the final, Jinjo Crew from Korea in the semifinal and Found Nation from Japan in quarters. IMO, the final was a bit boring since Massive Monkees dominated their opponent. I think that the real final was on the semifinal part, when Massive Monkees need to be face to face with Korea’s representative.

Also on that day, Uhlala session and Cube sound gave their special performance on stage. The thing I remember the most is in the closing part, I thought that Park Jaebum will not come, then suddenly when the stadium almost became empty, he’s came and said couple says of thank you! He even took pics with the contestants and he’s so cute.

So, that day closed up the series of R16 on 10 30 PM ~ Thanks again KTO for giving me a chance to be part of this event. I’ll see you again, R16 next year :)

1st Day of R16 Dance Competition Final Round

Last saturday, as part of the R16 stories, I went to Seoul Olympic Hall in Olympic Stadium line number 5 exit no.3 for watching the final round in which dancer from all over the world were coming here to Korea and their to give their best to be the number one. The final round was divided into two parts, the first part happened in saturday which contained the final round for poppin, locking, and individual bboy. Meanwhile the second part happened in Sunday when the final round for crew battle or group bboy dancing happened. The event started at 6pm. I came here alone but on the entrance gate I met Andrea’s friend, Maria and we took couple pics together.

I came late at that day, so KTO gave me not the VIP ticket but the S ticket. Meanwhile Maria got the VIP ticket, so we seperated. Turned out that I was sitting in the first row but on the left side of the stage. Since I couldnt see the stage properly I moved to the higher place and then a twist happen, a little girl suddenly show up n went to my previous seat to give present to Park Jaebum!! So the person that supposed to be sit next to me was him!!! So stupid that I moved to other place :’(

Back to the show then~the hosts for this event still the same with the one in Uijongbu event, park jaemin and the other one I forgot the name and he’s using wheelchair on stage. The event opened up with the showcase from all judges. It was awesome because as expected all the judges are the famous name in dancing world, and they’re dancing so awesome. The judges for popping category is Suga Pop USA, Iron Mike - France, and Poppin J from Korea. The judges from Locking category is TOni Basil France, Suga Pop USA, and Takashi from Japan. The last category, individual bboy, the judges are Ken Swift, ORB, & Abstract from USA, Cico Italy and Born from Korea.

The winner for Popping category is Boogaloo Kin from Korea, he beated Snow from Taiwan in the final round, Hozin from Japan in semifinal round, and Bibi from China in quarters. The winner for Locking category is Benson from Taiwan, he beated Cio, a girl from Japan in the final, Suzuki Yusuke from Japan in semifinal, and Kyrgyzstan representative, Zhan Funky on quarters. The winner for Solo Bboy is Issei from Japan he beat Roxrite from the USA in finals, Blue in the semifinal and Hong10 from Korea in the quarters. Their performances was awesome I kept screaming seeing how they did unbeliveable movement. Congrats anyway!  

Besides that, there’re performance from KRNFX from Canada, and Blue Whale Bros. I would like to mention the latter one, sine their dancing concept was awesome - which is shadow: one person become the other person’s shadow and imitate all the dances in sync way~ so cool! Then came the duo of The Quiett and Dok2. Our R16 ambassador also went on stage, sang duet with The Quiett and Dok2, also sang his famous song.

I was so glad to be part of the event, n those who didnt came to the venue could watch it lively at home since it was broadcasted live in KBSN. I enjoyed the show eventough I had to run to catch the last train since the event was finish at 11pm ^^
